How to add a shutdown, restart, logoff and control panel tile to the windows 8 start menu

Hey,

If you are wondering how to add a shutdown, restart, logoff and control panel tile to the Windows 8 start menu, this is a clean way to do it.

Especially if you want to avoid all the hassle of going to the charms and clicking a couple of times just to do a simple task.

Basically, what you are going to do, is create a shortcut and give it a special command. Afterwards you put the shortcut on the start menu.

start2

You can also style the buttons by going to “change icon”

I hope it helps you enjoy the Windows 8 experience a bit better :)
