Customizing footer in wordpress (twenty ten example)

Customizing footer in wordpress (twenty ten example)

If you would like to customize your footer, without the php request, follow these few steps: 1- remove this whole bunch of code, which you don’t need:

/* A sidebar in the footer? Yep. You can can customize
* your footer with four columns of widgets.
get_sidebar( 'footer' );

<a title="<?php echo esc_attr( get_bloginfo( 'name', 'display' ) ); ?>" rel="home" href=" echo home_url( '/' ) ?>">
<!--p bloginfo( 'name' );-->
<!-- #site-info -->
<!--p do_action( 'twentyten_credits' );-->
<a title="<?php esc_attr_e('Semantic Personal Publishing Platform', 'twentyten'); ?>" rel="generator" href=" echo esc_url( __('', 'twentyten') ); ?>">
<!--p printf( __('Proudly powered by %s.', 'twentyten'), 'WordPress' );-->
<!-- #site-generator -->
<!-- #colophon -->

2- add your own code between the footer divs:

<div role="contentinfo">Here comes your own code</div>

  1. Hello,

    On my website, can you tell me how to remove the footer note on the lower left corner?

    Kind Regards

    • Hi,

      It’s in Greek, so it’s not easy for me. But do you mean για ΜΕΓΑΛΕΣ ειδήσεις… ? (just made a copy paste)

      If it is, you should look for this code:
      <code><div id=”site-info”>
      <a rel=”home” title=”για ΜΕΓΑΛΕΣ ειδήσεις…” href=””>
      για ΜΕΓΑΛΕΣ ειδήσεις… </a>
