Coleslaw and hash brown – American entree

Being a great fan of America, and American dishes, I prepared a menu to prove people American cuisine is not only hamburgers and hot dogs. This is the entree:

Coleslaw recipe:

Grate carrots and white cabbage

vinaigrette
Ingredients (X people):
– 250 ml mayonnaise
– 2 tablespoons (30 ml) white vinegar
– 2 tablespoons (30 ml) mustard
– 125 ml cream
– 5 ml salt
– 1 ml pepper

preparation:
Mix all ingredients and it’s ready.

Hash Brown

Ingredients (for 2 persons):
– 3 potatoes
– 1 / 2 onion
– 1 egg
– Salt, pepper
– Olive oil

preparation:
Peel the potatoes, then grate with the big grill a cheese grater.
Cut onion into slices the same size as the potatoes grated
mix, add egg to bind, blend again.
Pour into a pan with oil to make a big pancake.
Add salt and pepper.
Cook until potatoes are tender. It is necessary that the cake is slightly toasted (=> brown).
